A few questions on radiators and shrouds for 66 Chevelles. I had mentioned previously several car magazine articles with nice black and white pictures in another thread on 66 headlamps. The articles pictures also display the engine compartments and not one BB engine compartment has a factory shroud. They do display a finger protector surface extending directly across the top of the radiator mid section. This finger protector surface has approximate dimensions of a 2.5 inch X 7 inches in width. Here are my questions.
1) What is the part number of a BB manual Harrison radiator and the automatic BB block Harrison?
2) Are these radiators date stamped or marked identifying or install date?
3) Location of part numbers, etc.?
4) What about these questionable shrouds? Are they factory or was the 66 BB optioned on with the finger protector plate only? Are these questionable shrouds in my mind came after the fact? As I remember growing up I did not see one 66 SS car with a factory shroud.
