Nah, I've had this car since 1990 and don't plan to sell it. The VIN says
it was a 6-cylinder coupe, so it'll never have any real restoration value.
My car's value lies in the powertrain and the neatness of any upgrades that
I do. If it were an SS, I'd probably feel differently, but it's not. I
have a non-gauges dash (big rectangular speedo)
I don't like the glove box idea, because:
a) I use the glove box
b) I'm still left with a hole in my dash. (I don't have an original radio
in there now -- it's an old Radio Shack unit)
Originality isn't important to me in this area.
With that said, I'd be interested in seeing pics of anyone who has a
DIN-sized radio in their dash, regardless of whether you put it in, or it
was already there when you got the car.
