The 2-bbl Rochester carb was called a "Dual Jet", if memory serves.  A Q-Jet will actually give BETTER mpg than the 2-bbl due to the small primaries.  That's assuming that you keep your foot out of it, though.  HTH   I'm sorry but I haven't heard of a 2 bbl Q-jet   I've come to the conclusion that I need a new carburetor.  I'm wondering how far south is my MPG going to go if I upgrade to a four barrel carb.  I'm getting about 14mpg right now with a two barrel Q-jet, on a 307.
