The Performer intake does accept spreadbore carbs without any sort of adapter. However, when I test-fit a squarebore #1406 Performer carb to my #2101 Performer intake it *appeared* to cover the entire carb pad so when John posted what he'd heard from Jeg's I got curious and asked Edelbrock. Also, the Performer RPM is available in a spreadbore version (#7104) for the SBC as well as the more common squarebore version (#7101). Brad > The tech guy recommended a square bore adapter?
