Earlier this week I emailed Edelbrock and asked about putting an AFB-style carburetor on their #2101 Performer intake manifold. Here's the reply, so now we all can once again sleep peacefully. ;^) Brad ---------------------- Forwarded Message: --------------------- From: Van Mattiza <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'olson'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: RE: #2101 intake + #1406 carburetor Date: Fri, 5 Oct 2001 08:44:39 -0700 -----Original Message----- From: olson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, October 01, 2001 10:34 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: #2101 intake + #1406 carburetor Hello, I have a #2101 Performer intake and a #1406 Performer 4-barrel that I'd like to install on my Chevy 350. Do I need any sort of adapter or special gasket to put the carb on the manifold? No, a standard square bore gasket will work fine. No adapter required I'm asking because it's a spreadbore manifold and a squarebore carb, but when I physically set the carb on the manifold it *looks* like it fits...but I want to be sure. Thanks!
