IMO stuff like that belongs on a website so that people who're
interested can see it and those who aren't don't have to deal with
it.  TH made a good point about server efficiency and unfortunately
there are times when virii and the like propagate
significantly before a fix is found.  8^(

I have some Norton software but even so I automatically discard
any attachments that aren't sent to me on a 1-to-1 basis.  In
this case the original poster did point out that there was
an attachment to his post but if attachments are allowed
sooner or later people will be less diligent and something
nasty will slip through; I've seen it happen.
