Are the Edelbrock carbs any good?
I have an Edelbrock 1406 on my Elky and it performed very well until recently. The choke coil is gone and the every once in awhile it stumbles onff the start. Considering the carb costs less than the new Holley (which is 'sposed to be the neatest thing since sliced bread) and the fact that mine is now five years old, I'd say it's a very good choice. It is calibrated for mileage over performance, get the manual choke model (1405?) for performance.
