Be careful, I built a what I thought was a 350c (lockup, it has a wiring harness) in a 305 '84 elky, but it was a 250c, I smoked it the first time out, oops. The only way to tell is a what looks like an adjusting bolt on the passinger side, if it has it it is a 250c. They are identical except for the valve body and the forward clutches (the ones attaced to the pump) the 250c has a band to take their place. The pans on all the 250c 350c 350, 375 (truck applications) and all sorts of others is the same. Look for the harness (drivers side, points to the ground) and the adjusting bolt. For more info get the HP books turbohydramatic 350 book. It is really good.
