Hi everyone, I'm back from retrieving my Elky in Arizona, and what a trip that was! There were no problems and picking up Joe's Elky in Texas went smooth also. It was just a very long trip. My friend and I drove from St. Pete FL to Gainesville TX on the first day. Picked up the Elky and went from there to Phoenix the next day. On Saturday we met Joe at the body shop and gave him his Elky, then loaded mine on the trailer and went back to my parents' house for the night. We left Phoenix on Sunday around noon, hit Tombstone AZ along the way and got back to St. Pete Tuesday morning at 6 am. So, coast to coast with a day off and back in six days. I certainly don't want to do that again any time soon! Now, here's my question... I want to order the wire harness from M&H, but I want to use a CS alternator vs. an IS. Before I order the modified harness, I want to find a CS alternator (preferably chrome - to match the a/c compressor) from a company called National Quick Start. Has anyone heard of this company? Do they have a web page?
