I have tried everything, but there is nothing quite like POR 15. If you do not want to use that, then use heavy rust Rustoleum. The only problem with POR 15 is getting anything to stick to it. If you use it on frame and suspension parts, you are supposed to "rough it up" which is a major project in itself. I put polurethane over it, but it still easily chips away leaving the "red" surface.
