I've asked several guys with thermodynamics backgrounds about the old
"going through the radiator too fast" bit and they all agree that it's
pretty much a fallacy.  If it was a legitimate theory why would there
be such a market for high-flow pumps and thermostats?  ;^)

Just to add my .02 about the overheating at highway speeds - my
'78 Trans Am had that problem and it was because the air dam was
improperly configured.  So I suggest making sure all shrouds,
baffles, etc. are properly configured and installed, but since
it sounds like this problem has developed over time I suspect
Bill doesn't need to worry about it.
