I'd suggest you find a Chevy 12 bolt. I wouldn't trust the smaller pinion diameter of the BOP 12 bolt with that much hp. Further, as you've found, your choice of gears will be more limited with the BOP. Just another of my opinions.... I'd hate for you to invest more money it it, then start over with a chevy unit....
