It depends on the year. The 67-69 F-Body and 68-74 (??-Body NOVA,etc) are exactly the same as 68-72 chevelle, elky, monte carlo spindles. But you do need to use the original chevelle steering arms. Later F-Body and Some A-Body & some B-Body spindles will work on chevelles. These are called the "Tall Spindles". These spindles drop your front end 1" and handle better than the earlier spindles. But, they cannot use the Chevelle ball joints. If you go to www.chevelles.com and find the TECH REFERENCE section (not the bulletin board) there is an excellent explaination of the differences.
