A few of us on the other list have decided that the fiberglass hood isn't the way to go. We're going to get the Goodmark steel cowl induction hood (2"). Not sure when, but the fit and finish on these hoods is excellent...no sagging problems there....of course this will add weight instead of taking it off, but with the weight distribution at almost perfect, it won't hurt a bit.....
