The Senate, as part of its energy security bill is trying to create a
federal fund for "retiring fuel-ineffecient motor vehicles", basically that
could eliminate many future project vehicles.  If they had done this in 1974
how many people would have junked a '69 Trans-Am or a  '57 Bel-Air?  Every
car turned in must be crushed under the bill.
