If anyone in the Ontario, CA area knows a Mr. Kevin Rollins I'd like to have him contact me. He has/had a 66 Chevelle that was featured on the cover of Super Chevy, August 2001 and again in the special issue Chevelle magazine. I'd like to find out what shifter he has behind the TH400. It appears to have a very short throw judging by the slot cut into the custom console. I'm seriously considering swapping my 4-speed out for a 700R4 and also have a custom console. The console is built around the current Hurst Comp Plus shifter and I don't want to have to modify the console to fit an automatic shifter...Plexiglas is too expensive to have another piece molded into the current shape just to move the shifter hole.
