Thank you all for the responses regarding my now deceased 69. The damage is far more extensive than I had originally thought. It needs the frame replaced. The insurance company has settled on 10K And I think that's fair. The car is in Colorado and to buy it back with a salvage title will cost 3,000. The car has a great running gear, and the bed and rear end are in excellent condition. The bed chrome is all new. The interior is very nice (needs a good detailing) the tires are 7 months old. I don't have the time or place to work on it, so if anyone on the list is interested, let me know. I'd hate to see it go to some bone yard, and be picked over, like road kill. It deserves better than that. I drove it for over 10 years and It NEVER let me down. Its got a strong 350, holly 650, roller rockers, Mallory ignition system, headers, new rad, and heater core. (radiators leaking from accident) But the motor runs great. It is driveable, but the drivers side head lights needs to be bent back into position. Turbo 350 with external cooler. 10 bolt (non posi) rear end. I can send you some pictures.
