Hey Tom, out of curiousity, which side was the difficlut side for you? I
found the driver side was the tough one for me with my repro inners. I did
eventually get it to bolt in using all the holes but it took some persuasion
with a pointed pry bar! The passenger side almost fell into place.

The repro
steel inner fenders are most likely going to give you a hell of a time.
I installed 2 new repros on my 70. One side fit nice, the other
was a total wrestling match for me. i ended up having to redrill the
holes to make it fit. unfortunately, all the repros are made by the same
overseas manufacturer to my knowledge. They can be installed with the
fender on the car. Best thing to do is take your time.
