Because I am a cheap skate, I am forced to attempt installing the replacement myself.
Can anyone help me with tips, directions or things of that nature to help things go a little bit easier for me.
It's a lot easier than you might think. I did mine last time in an hour and a half....just be sure to get the best glue you can....some of them don't hold very long.
