I use the BatteryTender, for my motorcycle, in the fall/winter. Works great, charges when it needs charging, tends when it just needs to be kept up. In the Winter, driving at night with the lights on and the electric vest plugged in, the battery doesn't always have a chance to charge well, at least it doesn't with my current sport bike and small battery. Never really had to worry about it with my BMW's.
