There is an old saying in the car hobby "If it's mine, it�s gold. If it's yours, it's old." I agree with Chuck. The price sounds high. It's all about supply and demand. I would wait a month. Then if the guy still has the car, you have a good case for offering a lower price. If it's gone, keep looking. It's not the last car on earth. It's like a courtship. If you act desperate, you lose respect. It's all about who wants something from the other person. It also depends on your own budget, how much satisfaction you would get from it, and whether or not you care about the "investment potential." John Nasta |
