Hi,
Sorry for the long post !

does somebody have a bellhousing lying around ??
if yes, please measure it trans mounting to engine mounting flange.
I could also need to know the measure of the clutch pressure plate (flywheel mounting to the contact point of the release bearing)
I have 0,4" less space than I should have to mount the release bearing.
and I thougt that there might be some thinner clutches or longer bellhousings around.
Any ideas.

I also keep getting the messages twice, if I look at them directly on internet they are normal (once) but when I download I keep getting them twice.

Subject: Re: [Chevelle-List] My new motor....

Thats funny..........I have $4200 into my 454 as well.

My dad was visiting one day and asked how much I had into the motor. After I told him he laughed and said,"That's the total amount you paid for your 72 Torino with all the bells and whistles back in 72." Then I said, "Shhh....don't tell my wife that."    Hee hee

DON"T LET MY WIFE SEE THIS!!I have about $4200 into the motor. (This doesn't include many of the almost new items I had added to the motor previously. RPM intake, the carb rebuild, headers, valve covers, roller rockers, fuel pump, Proform distributor, plug wires and looms, water pump, motor mounts, and about half of the stainless ARP bolts.)Josh Gin (NoNeck) Visit my Chevelle website www.NoNecksChevelle.com
