Yeah, I bought it for $200 w/ no motor or tranny. The body was fairly solid for the price. And it looked like it needed a better home. I built a 283 from a 1958 Corvette block, and I have a TH350 from a 70 Chevelle behind it. I originally picked it up for my brother, who tore down the nose and stripped the header panel & fenders, and pulled some dents in them. After 2 years, he realized he was getting nowhere with it, so I took it back and decided to finish it. I always buy basket cases and bring them back. It's a hobby, and yes it's rewarding. This is the first time I am going all the way through a restoration before ever driving it. This is also the only one of my 3 old cars that doesn't have the complete original drivetrain, so I am not worrying about keeping it original. Just good looking and fun to own.
