Is it possible to get the engine casting numbers from a BB while the engine is in the car? I've attempted to look with a flashlight and a mirror, but I don't seem to be able to see any numbers on the rear of the deck. Do you need to remove the distributer for better viewing access, or would you still not be able to see them after that? Any hints or ideas appreciated.
