Never heard of spaying to prevent *corrosion*...  ;^)

Are you going to tear the car down to the bare frame or 
are you looking to paint the frame while still 
assembled?  Lots of people swear by the POR products 
from Restomotive Labs, and if you can find an oven big 
enough you could even consider powdercoating.

I have a magazine article that covers the frame-off 
restoration of a '67 GTO.  The owner/restorer went so 
far as to use bondo on the frame to create a totally 
smooth surface, among other details.
