Those crates at Chevy receive the core and are sent back, I was told.  Same with Jasper's motors, and there is $50 deposit on those, they really want them baby's back.

Go to your local chevy dealer and ask them for  a used crate motor  stand that they are discarding , when i got my 502 it came in a woodin stand but without thinking i pitched it out

 easy/ i use a old large truck tire and lay motor on top of it and then strap the motor down.
