Received the new Edelbrock carb this morning and installed it. Car started instantly after only two pumps on the gas and ran like a million bucks! I think the carb still needs to be adjusted since it is running just our of the box for now. I can't tell you what a relief it was to make the right decision to replace that carb! Now I can see about that gas gauge problem. *groan*
