Does anyone have an tips or tricks for installing the oil drip stick tube??

We tapped it in with a hammer....I have a furniture hammer (hard plastic head) that worked well without disfiguring the tube....you can use a regular hammer with a block of something (wood or metal to keep the hammer from denting it) in between the hammer head and the tube top.
