tom You may not be able to find all of the accurate info that you want in any one place. At www.chevelles.com there is a link to the Restoration Workshop by skip cain. He went into detail on the colors for various places. But, honestly I'm not sure which years it applies to.
Also some people swear by and others swear at a book by Paul Herd called Restore Your Chevelle SS (or something like that). I know that there are inaccuracies in the book, but again not sure if the [aint section is OK. Finally if you check the Body Shop Forum at Chevelle TEch, you may find some answers. You may have to get a consensus from several sources. Also, I'd bet that some plants did things different than others. I know that in most years, the firewall of a chevelle is a shade of black. But some Canadian built chevelles have a body color firewall. Both are corrrect, yet different. I salute your effort to get it right. I wouldn't have the patience. ---------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Chevelle-List] re: Chevelle Source Date: Thu, 11 Apr 2002 14:15:07 EDT Hello Anyone know where I can get specs for 64 Malibu SS? Things as simple as if black gloss or black flat paint was used on inner fenders and firewall in engine compartment. Details about the inside of trunk, dash paint colors, ect. Those details that make all the difference in the world on the final look.
