Puzzle it back together and compare it to a good build sheet. You may be able to read some of it. The build sheet is made up of numbered "boxes" with a code. You can have a 1/2 square with a numbered box and a code. If it is the engine code it can tell you what engine was in the car or what wheels, etc.
