Jim, I too have seen 69's with and without those little chrome moldings between the headlight bezels. My 69 SS El Camino had them, as did my previous, non-SS 69 Elco. It's my understanding that '68's never had them, although the 68's do use the same long header panel molding. BTW, we've been carrying those little moldings for almost two years now!
