I have a buddy that races dirk track, he hates the C-clip eliminaters.... 
they break (this is roundy round stuff though, high pressure on the inside 
axle of course something has to give).  I had debated it 'cause the 
magazines rave about the things, I have learned though the mags like to lie 
a lot too.  So I pretty much go by the K.I.S.S. method anymore.
