If nothing else it might be worth the core charge on a fresh
rebuild. Depends if there are any "accessories" you could reuse like
intake/carb, dist, exhaust, brackets/pulleys, etc.

Firts of all, thanks for the help with the E-Brake cable thing. Found the hole right away once I knew where to look. HEY, stop thinking that way. HAHA
OK then. I have the opportunity to pick up a 350 engine out of an 87 blazer for $100. The guy, ( a friend of a friend) said it ran "about a year ago", then he picked up a new truck, and it sat outside till now.
While I realize that this motor really isnt the best choice (cam, compression ratio, etc..),would it be worth the time, effort, and money to use this to replace the 6 cyl currently residing in my engine compartment? Will it mate to the Powerglide and be streetable? There are a lot of unforseen variables, huh?
