I have one better, last week I installed the Headliner on my 66 with the
help of everyone on Chevelle-list,. I had used the 3-m glue to tack
everything up and used the binder clips all around to seat the glue....I let
the glue set for two days and removed the binger clips and no sag or
wrinkles anywhere in the headliner. It was late Friday night when I removed
the clips and said to myself I'll install the moldings on Sat......well it
was hot Saturday around 85 so I guess the garage got to be 100
degree........I walked into the garage and almost laid a
egg......DAMM....THE HEADLINER CAME UNDONE and was sagging from all four
corners.....all that work to pull it tight, glue it and clip it, was down
the drain!!!! .....Lesson #1- let glue set three days, Lesson #2- install
molding right after removing clips, Lesson #3- never work in a garage with
the temp around 100!. Lesson #4 - relax and have a beer!
