Normally I don't condone street racing (it's illegal, dangerous, and too often innocent people are hurt) but this is a good example of GM "performance" in the '80s (and it involves a G-Body, which offshot from the A- Body, so now we're only 4 degrees from Kevin Bacon...). It'd be really funny if it weren't so sad...
Brad A friend took me to pick up my car at the mechanic today. The exhaust leak is fixed, as is the air conditioning. "Its quiet as a mouse and cool as a cucumber." On the way back we came to a stop light that was red, so we lined up. His car is FWD, so when he left his tires chirped. I nailed the throttle to the floor. We were neck and neck for a good portion of the way, but I was just a little ahead by the time we reached 65-70 MPH. It was a city street so we let off about then. His car is a 1990 Nissan Sentra.
