Michael, My Vette was doing the same thing a while back. I went through 3 coils, and 3 HEI distributors.
It turned out to be a bad distributor, the coils where fine. The first two I tried were "rebuilt" from AutoZone and Checker. The third was from Performance Distributors and when I dropped it in, the engine fired up instantly. I would suggest trying a distributor from a running car and see if that works. No more cheap crap from AutoZone or Checker for me. cYa- Herb Lumpp 1966 El Camino, LS6, 6 spd ACES 3509 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Ishee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, May 17, 2002 4:05 PM > > Ok for those you of who have been helping me to get my car to start once > again here is an update.
