Jeff... cool to see another MN member here. I will have to keep an eye out for your Chevelle... Nice! I agree with Jeff... The Flowmaster 40's sound great, but if you are concerned about noise try either a 50 or 70's series. 50's are just a little quieter on the freeway and mid-rpms. Another thought is what size exhaust you have, do you have headers, and the size of your exit tube or tips. Bigger exhaust and headers all change your tone and loudness. My lifted truck has 40's on it and it sounds alright. It will be better when I get headers and bit healtier motor in it. It has true 2 1/4 duals to the muffs and 3" tips on it. It is great. Down the road for the Chevelle I will probably go with an X pipe and Ravin's. If you want a cheaper muffler that is loud Rhino's are an ok choice. Know a few guys with those. Mikey
