Where do you think the Firestone tires that were the center of controversy with Ford were made? Many were made right here in North America by us. No offense, but a majority of the parts made for "American" cars are made in Canada, Mexico, Central America, as well as the Far East. Honda is "Made In America" for crying out loud. The corporate profits may be going back to Japan but the jobs are here and the quality of the product is a result of US workers.
