Here's a question for the hardcore 1966-67 gurus:

I am looking through 2 suppliers' catalogs and there is a discrepancy
between the Chevelle & El Camino wheel opening moldings for 1966 & 67.

One company shows 2 part numbers for 1966 Chevelle / El Camino front, 2 for
Chevelle rear, and 2 for El Camino rear, implying that the front moldings
are used by both, and the rears are different. They show the same setup for
1967 (showing Chevelle & EC using the same front moldings but different
rears each year).

Another company shows 2 numbers fitting 1966 Chevelle front, and the same 2
numbers fitting El Camino for both 1966 & 1967, and then 2 separate numbers
for 1967 Chevelle-only in the front. They also show the El Camino rear
moldings fitting both 66 & 67.

I tend to believe that the 1966 Chevelle front moldings do not fit the 1967
El Camino (the 67 EC should take the same front moldings as the 67 Chevelle,
right?). I also tend to think that if one company shows separate listings
for 66 & 67 EC rear, they must be different even though the other company
says that they are the same.

So does anybody know for sure which one is right?

Thanks,
John Nasta
