Was anyone else on this list in Springfield Ohio for the Car Show
and swap meet?
I seen some prices that were unbelievable .....both good and bad. Bought
a lot of stuff, spent too much money, got lot's of goodies.
Only seen a few cars, spent most of the time looking at parts. An
incredible amount of dealers there, some selling good stuff others
selling junk. I guess it's junk if you don't need it and "good stuff" if
you do?
I am new at this stuff. Let me know if I did ok?
Some steering wheels going for $450 I passed.
Tilt steering column for 69, manual shift, used, $250 - I passed.
Clutch pedal & brake pedal , z-bar, linkage, new, never been installed.
Bought it for $100
Back tail light assembly, used, complete pot metal, plastic lens, &
metal trim - both sides, bought it for $5
Bought a cast iron bell housing for $35 then found another later for $5.
(want more protection than aluminum and need to widen the hole anyway
for tranny I am using) Bought both.
Small plastic cleaning brushes 3 for $1
Bought 2000lb engine stand $50 & engine leveling device for $14.
Had my 396 and 4spd tranny delivered as well. While both look like crap
and need to be rebuilt- I am stoked! ( car bank account just about
drained )
