Back in my youth...... Wayyyyyy back there! I had a 66SS with vinyl top and I used a black paste wax that was sold for vinyl tops. It went on like a shoe polish and dried. I would them take a rag and wipe it clean and it left a natural shine protection etc. I had not complaints except I do miss the that vinyl top. I don't know if anyone is making that type of paste anymore? I wouldn't mind getting another Chevelle with the vinyl top.
PS. Amour all looks to shiny on tops for me and messy. Just my thought. Goodluck!
