Did you try saving the picture as a file as opposed to set as wallpaper? Try that then move the file into this folder. C:\WINDOWS\WEB\WALLPAPER This is where the wallpaper bitmaps are stored. Then go into the display properties and see if it shows up in the list of backgrounds. This is how it works on Windows XP and that is pretty much just an update of Windows 2000 combined with NT
