Well, it's not quite a Chevelle, but I dug my parent's '63 Vette out of
their garage to continue working on our restification. We had a capable
family friend put a new frame under it a couple years ago, and now it's time
to start with the interior and paintwork. My Chevelle has been stashed out
at their place for the time being so that I have room in my garage. This
weekend's project is a new 4 speed shifter. So far, the old one is out, and
the new one goes in tomorrow morning. Carb rebuild next.

Most Excellent. And as long as you are happy we're happy. We've had an
outbreak of resurected chevelles lately. Lets keep it going. Who's next?

Well we finally got my engine in. First time we turned the ignition
she fired right up. It sounds great. I only have a couple problems.
First, the throttle cable that was on the car was for a small block, so now
I have to wait until GM in Carlisle this weekend to pick one up. I was
hoping that I could take her for a spin, now I have to wait a week.
Second thing I found that the factory tach does not work, what a
bummer, would have love to have it. Other then that I just need a couple
small items and I hope I'll be off cruising. Just can't wait. Thanks for
everyone's help. What a great we have on the Chevelle Team. Thanks

Craig
