Hey guys, I have been laid up a bit with this ankle cast but with a set of crutches and the desire to hunt for chevelle parts I usually get up for the hunt. I have been buying some stuff here from some folks locally and I found a couple more interesting cars.
Car #1 A 1968 2 door mist blue malibu w/ mist blue bucket interior. What struck me on this car is it is a factory 327 with buckets console factory 4-speed and full gauge cluster. Car has some rust in rear quarters behind the wheel wells and in the usual lower section of the passenger fender. Guy claims it is somewhat sold. The possible buyer is getting some funds together? maybe not? Car would be a project car.
Car #2 This one is a one owner 67 SS Chevelle 396/325hp marina blue exterior, black bucket interior with 4 speed w/ console. Original motor, trany and rear end. Car is not equipped with factory gauges. Original owner installed gauges under dash back when they were driving the car. The registration/tags on the car are 1978. Car is setting in an open faced barn beside a 2 door 57 chevy. Both cars are setting on a dirt floor on flat tires. The chevelle has small rust spots in lower front fender and rust coming through rear quarters behind the wheel wells. Doors are solid, chrome, grill & bezels, etc., are nice and straight and so are the bumpers. The interior is complete but a home for the barn mice. This also is a project car and man does it make me interested. The owner was not home but another family member allowed me to look at the car and reconfirmed their husband bought the car new in 1967 when they were dating.
Thought I would share. I blows my mind every time I run into these types of cars just parked in a barn, field or down on someone's farm in the middle of the country. Anyway enough ramble folks. Oh yeah, I did find a few parts for my 66 collection. Have a good evening all.
