I'm on the mailing list for cars listed for the crusher. I saw a Chevelle VIN go by and figure I should alert the list. As far as I can tell, this is a 1971 V8 Concours Wagon, in case anyone is interested in saving it from the crusher.

To repeat a note sent in previous reports, in response to several requests for specific vehicle types in the South Coast Area, as yet, the VAVR automatic notification service does not filter vehicle types, but you should be able to quickly scan the list to determine if what you are looking for is among the list of vehicles. Also, partial VIN numbers are only available for expediency and privacy reasons, and the particular model is not available until you express sincere interest in the vehicle.
