WELL SAID!  i myself HATE rap music.  it sounds like to me, that most of you enjoy a younger person with a desire for a car, am i correct?  i understand that back then, everyone was into cars, cause they were MUSCLE, today its all plain 4 cylider, bummer, isnt it.  to me, the only true muscle cars today are mustangs, f-bodays, and camaros.  actually, i never told you guys, me and my dad have a '93 Mustang GT.  i do have to admit, that thing ROCKS!  it does a 200 - 300 foot burnout, and my dad let off at the end, who knows how long that thing could've burned out if he just kept on it!  now, guilty as charged, that car had pretty bald tires.  but that car is pure badass!  secretly, i love the chevelles and GTOs more than the mustang, but the mustang is 3rd on my list!

Subject: RE: [Chevelle-List] Hi, im new here!

Well what is most of the youth of today coming to? It's nice to see that Chad and others on here are the exceptions if most of the kids in school don't like cars.

I knew rap music was going to have a bad effect on youth !!!   LOL  Just kidding, I know they said that about Rock and Roll....well maybe they had a point there. We got spoiled. All we seemed to want was faster cars, shorter skirts, less war unless you have a dang good reason, less work and more pay. Hey wait.....what's wrong with that?

I MISS MINI SKIRTS !

Anyway, welcome Chad. Remember the muscle car rules of the road:

#1 Obey the laws.
#2 Make your car as safe as you can as well as good looking. ( Good brakes! seat belts, good steering & front end, no parts falling off, good tires etc. )
#3 Don't race on public streets or put anyone in danger
#4.Don't give in to temptation and race "Rice Rockets"....just look at them and laugh. When you are in a muscle car you don't need to prove anything, you already have just by being in one. Something they will never understand .....unless maybe they ride in one :)
#5. Promote Muscle Car Classics to your friends and help preserve as many as you can.
#6. Learn about cars and how to fix them by taking autoshop classes, welding, painting, metal shop etc. You don't have to take these just in high school. There are trade schools, adult shools, career centers, and even community colleges that let non HS grads take courses, and more that offer classes in how to do these things.

and finally

#6. Never play rap music in a muscle car.  LOL  Sorry ...couldn't help myself :)
