I guess that's a good reason for not having the numbers on the bezel, but the thread began with the idea of making 454 front marker bezels. I would think that the owner of such a car might want to consider the SS fender emblems with the 454 emblems below and use SS front marker bezels. It's easier and IMO would look more "natural" than trying to make your own front marker bezels.
