This policy of dropping you after an accident is terrible. They don't bump your rates or put you on a probation, just drop you cold. My wife never had an accident period. No tickets. She hit another car and her car was repairable. We were dropped immediately (Heritage Ins.) and had to scramble to find someone to cover us again. We did but at a higher rate of course! Took many years to get back to that lower rate again. So now we don't drive, just keep the cars locked up in the garage and go out and stare at them occasionally. *grin*
