This policy of dropping you after an accident is terrible. They don't bump 
your rates or put you on a probation, just drop you cold. My wife never had 
an accident period. No tickets. She hit another car and her car was 
repairable. We were dropped immediately (Heritage Ins.) and had to scramble 
to find someone to cover us again. We did but at a higher rate of 
course!  Took many years to get back to that lower rate again. So now we 
don't drive, just keep the cars locked up in the garage and go out and 
stare at them occasionally.  *grin*
