What car is the T5 in?  Has it always made the noise you're talking about?  If yes and it's not a stock application, is there a chance the trans case is rubbing/vibrating against the tunnel while you drive?

I changed the fluid, but it didn't help. You can here it in 3rd and when you goto 4th & 5th it just amplifies the noise.

sounds like you could be out of oil. My brother had same problem. Also they take a special oil.

Has anyone had dealings with a noisy Borg Warner T5(5spd)? At 50mph in overdrive is the worst, but if you crank it up to 60mph it goes away.You can feel it in the shifter.
