I have to agree with Herb. To me, glass packs sound like an angry pack of bumble bees. I want my car to have that deep mellow sound, and not be obnoxious while driving through the neighborhood.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but in my opinion, glass packs suck because they make an engine sound like a ratty, trailer park, can't afford to do it right, piece-o-crap. If finances are the real concern, I think the stock mufflers, stock replacement mufflers, or lower end turbos sound much, much better than the low tech, low performance glass packs, aka: cherry bombs. Again, this is my opinion. : ) cYa- Herb Lumpp 1966 El Camino, LS6, 6 spd, Currie 9" ACES 3509, MCC 528 http://users.adelphia.net/~hlump/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chad Playso" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, July 15, 2002 12:08 PM Subject: [Chevelle-List] Glass Packs... > Hey guys, a lot of people tell me glasspacks are too loud for them, but i > dont think that they are TOO loud, they sound GREAT and yes, they are loud, > but it sounds so good and i like loudness...lol. does anyone here own a > chevelle w/ Glasspacks? is it true that you have to replace them every > 15,000 miles? just a thing i heard... ----------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
